- Accumulator
- A single bet that links two or more individual selections, and all of them must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team to eliminate the draw outcome, creating balanced odds for betting on either side.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you combine several betting markets from the same match into a single wager.
- Betting Exchange
- A platform where bettors can back or lay outcomes directly against each other, rather than against a traditional bookmaker.
- Cash Out
- A feature that allows you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or cutting a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes (home win or draw, away win or draw, etc.) in one wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where you win if your selected team wins, and your stake is refunded if the match ends in a draw.
- Each-Way
- A bet placed on a selection to either win outright or finish in a predetermined place, with separate stakes for each part.
- First Goalscorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in a match.
- Fixed Odds
- The odds that are set when you place the bet and remain unchanged regardless of later market movements.
- Fold
- The number of selections in an accumulator bet; for example, a 5-fold includes five picks.
- Free Bet
- A token provided by a bookmaker that allows you to place a bet without using your own money, with any winnings usually returned excluding the stake.
- Handicapping
- Assigning a perceived advantage or disadvantage to a team to create more balanced betting odds.
- In-Play
- Betting on a match while it is still in progress, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- Juice
- The commission or fee a bookmaker includes in the odds, representing their profit margin.
- Lay
- To bet against a particular outcome, acting as the bookmaker in a betting exchange.
- Match Result (1X2)
- A market where you choose whether the home team wins (1), the match ends in a draw (X), or the away team wins (2).
- Outright Bet
- A wager placed on the overall winner of a tournament, league, or competition, rather than a single match.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether a specific statistic, such as total goals, will be higher or lower than a set line.
- Point Spread (Goal Line)
- A handicap applied to the final score to level the betting field, often set at a whole number or half-goal.
- Price Boost
- An offer from a bookmaker to increase the odds on a selected market for a limited time.
- Rollover (Wagering Requirement)
- The number of times you must bet a bonus amount before any resulting winnings can be withdrawn.
- Single
- A straightforward bet placed on one selection only; you win if that selection wins.
- Value Bet
